Jefferson Elks Lodge #2306 will hold its annual Elks Memorial Service Sunday, Dec. 1, at 2 pm at the Elks Lodge in Jefferson. The service is an integral part of the Elks calendar year and is an opportunity to pay special tribute to those members who have passed away, especially those who have passed since the last memorial service.
Those departed members being honored are Carson Griffith, Gene Daubendiek, John Danielson Sr., and David Grauer. Families of the departed members will be the Elks special guests.
This year the message will be delivered by Pastor Gordon Moen of the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. The soloist will be J.B. Hinote. Marlilynn Hoskinson will be the accompanist.
The Does will also take part in the service and perform their traditional Elks Rest Ceremony.
The public is invited. Refreshments will be served following the service.
